Jennifer grew up in southern Colorado and earned her Bachelor’s degree and Masters in Secondary Education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She then moved to Wilmington, NC with her husband and worked at Cape Fear Academy as a middle school science and math teacher. She felt a call to higher education in order to help students that struggled in school. Jennifer then had the opportunity to return to Colorado and continued to pursue learning by attending the University of Northern Colorado. There she studied School Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and earned a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She returned to North Carolina in 2017 with her dedicated husband and three lively children. Jennifer is currently an RBT and hopes to work towards BCBA certification in the future. She enjoys building relationships with families and helping children to develop skills to live a happy and productive life.
